Perspectria is a Chrome extension I have been building that lets you comment on any part of any news article you are currently reading in your browser. After selecting the text you want to comment on, a small button appears that opens a dialog when clicked. You can add your own comment, as well as label the news "misleading," "opiniated," or "factually inaccurate." The comments are stored in a database.

My next steps are to actually show everyone's comments on the page and indicate comment counts on a web page linking to an article that's been commented on (e.g. Google News).

A small comment box over a highlighted sentence in an online news article.
